Must Have Skills

• 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), cybersecurity engineering, or infrastructure security.

• Strong expertise in certificate lifecycle management (CLM), including certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and automation.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise PKI platforms such as Venafi, DigiCert, Microsoft CA/ADCS, or AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).

• Solid understanding of TLS/SSL, X.509 certificates, cryptography, encryption, and key management.

• Experience with PKI automation using APIs, PowerShell, Python, scripting, or CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud certificate services in AWS and/or Azure.

• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and trust store management.

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and CMMC.

• Proven ability to maintain secure, scalable, and highly available PKI environments.

• Experience identifying and mitigating certificate expiration, misconfiguration, and trust-related risks.

• Strong collaboration skills to work with application, infrastructure, and security teams on PKI integration and modernization.

Ensure availability, resiliency, and patching of PKI infrastructure Support certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and lifecycle management

2. Certificate Lifecycle Management

Manage large-scale certificate environments across applications and infrastructure Ensure timely renewal and replacement of certificates

7. Emerging Crypto & Future Readiness

Support adoption of new cryptographic standards (e.g., post-quantum cryptography)

Assist in modernization of PKI architecture and tooling

Must be able to hit the ground running.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3–7+ years in PKI, cybersecurity engineering, or infrastructure security

• Hands-on experience with certificate lifecycle management

• Experience with PKI tools/platforms (e.g., Venafi, DigiCert, Microsoft CA, AWS ACM)

• Understanding of TLS/SSL, cryptographic principles, and key management
