Ho'olaulima Government Solutions LLC (HGS) is a Small Business Administration-certified, Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned, 8(a) Small Business that provides services and solutions in the areas of Environmental Services, Information Technology Services, Healthcare Services and Professional and Technical Services to the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies.

HGS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kina'ole Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to benefit Native Hawaiian communities.


Job Description: Supply Chain Assistant Intern works as part of a team supporting the design, integration, inspection, inventory, and installation of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and Government off the Shelf (GOTS) equipment in support of the Army Geospatial Center and provide operational support as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate system development tasks to include design, integration, and formal testing of COTS and GOTS to include Information Technology (IT) equipment.
  • Develop and complete actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements, and other disciplines.
  • Gather, assemble, and format equipment and prepare preliminary analysis for program operations as required.
  • Label, package, and palletize systems for shipment.
  • Oversee formal Government acceptance testing.
  • Participate in activities that foster creativity and product innovation.
  • Produce and disseminate stored data in a timely manner.
  • Provide customer service in a professional work environment, both within CTI and to customers.
  • Provide input to the Government technical and management lead concerning system, imagery, and data management issues.
  • Provide operational support to Program and Operations Managers to include participation in subcontract management tasks, job description preparation, program management reviews, etc. in overall support of operations.
  • Provide Quality Control support for contract activities and ISO requirements.
  • Work with organizational team procedures to ensure project materials and resources flow through the department in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Support warehouse operations activities to include inspection, processing, labeling, integration, and assembly of mobile training suite systems as needed.
  • Support program deliverable creation as required.
  • Inventory and cable management with precise attention to detail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED; Currently enrolled and pursuing degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
  • Must successfully pass Background Investigation.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Familiar with and understands military concepts and Department of Defense Acquisition processes.
  • Must have excellent organizational, scheduling and prioritization skills and to maintain high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with a variety of IT equipment functionality.
  • Works well individually or in a group setting.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to develop a team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate dedication to project timeline.
  • Ability to be trained.
  • Able to direct equipment tests and provide instructions to all participating members, regardless of their role, without deviating from the test plan.
  • Successfully presents technical information.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
