About The Position:
SUNY Plattsburgh's Feinberg Library seeks part-time, temporary librarians to provide research assistance at the Research Help desk.
Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues, as SUNY Plattsburgh is committed to ensuring that its graduates are educated to succeed in an increasingly complex, multicultural, and interdependent world.
The vita bank exists to provide a pool of candidates who might be available to fill anticipated positions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Masters' Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution or equivalent is required. Successful candidates will have demonstrated an ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in academic library and classroom instruction is preferred.
