This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects, lead diverse teams, and ensure the safe, timely, and quality delivery of infrastructure solutions.

Position Overview:
The Substation Superintendent will manage field operations for high-voltage substation construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise substation construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of substation construction, including site preparation, installation of equipment, grounding, wiring, and commissioning.
  • Monitor and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules, adjusting for changes and managing resources effectively.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards, specifications, and design requirements.
  • Manage material procurement, inventory, and site logistics to prevent delays.
  • Prepare daily reports, track progress, and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Substation Superintendent or similar leadership role in substation construction.
