Responsibilities also include support for tracking project financials, and building/nurturing client relationships with US Department of Defense and US aerospace/defense companies.


GALT Aerospace Program Managers must know the fundamentals of project and resource planning such as integrated master schedule, work breakdown structure, resourced scheduling including critical path determination, risk identification and mitigation, and are responsible to understand the basics of defense contracting and contracting with suppliers and sub-contractors.
GALT Aerospace Program Managers have significant responsibility and are held accountable for program success. Time management skills are extremely important to effectively carry out the demands of this profession. They must be team-oriented, with effective communication and cooperation. Program Managers are expected to know industry norms, and safe practices to effectively carry out their duties.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education
o Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, and/or Management
o 3+ years in Supply Chain Management and 10+ years in aerospace defense industry of successful experience with increasing responsibilities in production projects, preferably as a DoD contractor
o A high Level of skill negotiating with suppliers
o A high level of skill with Microsoft Office tools including MS-Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
o A high level of skill working with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and dealing with large data sets
o Ability to Lead others in demanding environments complying with and improving processes for ever more effective performance.
o U.S. Citizenship required
o Active DOD Secret, TS/SCI, and/or SSBI clearance

Pay Scale
At GALT Aerospace, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as one grows and develops within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $148,000 - $190,000 and a specific candidate's base pay will depend on their skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
