Student Services Coordinator

Salary Range $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly

US Colleges is a leader in post-secondary career education and we are obsessed with student success. Our company has an opportunity for someone that has the qualifications needed in the role of Student Services Coordinator!

Description

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day student experience from enrollment through program completion, ensuring students are supported, engaged, and progressing successfully. This role serves as the central hub of campus operations, overseeing Welcome Center/front desk activities, student onboarding and orientation, ownership of all campus events, and support for students and all campus teams. The position works cross-functionally with Education, Externship Services and campus leadership to ensure seamless and high-quality student experience. Essential day-to-day job responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily operations of the Welcome Center and front desk, serving as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and staff, answering incoming calls and handling walk-ins.
  • Maintain organized systems for communication, scheduling, and campus coordination.
  • Create and post social media posts for the campus.
  • Manage and proctor the national certification exams every Friday and one Saturday of the month.
  • Manage and support all student licensure requirements including hosting weekly licensure information workshops.
  • Complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Plan and conduct new student orientation sessions. Ensure students understand program expectations, policies, and campus resources and verify completion of all required onboarding documentation.
  • Plan and execute all campus events including but not limited to graduation, recognition, and other engagement activities. Develop and maintain an annual events calendar.
  • Facilitating and coordinating students' access to on-campus tutoring, open labs and other learning resources.
  • Manage campus uniforms, books and classroom supplies inventory orders and reconciliation.
  • Provide basic communication to students regarding payment reminders and inquiries.
  • Assist with any cash collection of student payments or registration fees.
  • Provide general support and guidance, referring students to appropriate resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

ยท 1โ€“3 years of experience in student services, administration, or customer service.

ยท Above-average user skills in Microsoft Office and social media.

ยท Experience with event coordination and/or student support preferred.

ยท High school diploma required; some college preferred.

ยท Excellent interpersonal skills.
