As a head start coordinator, you have a variety of administrative duties as part of a head start program, which is the federal program designed to provide the children of low-income parents with early childhood education, nutritional information, and health opportunities so they can successfully transition into kindergarten. As the coordinator, your responsibilities are to coordinate student transportation, conduct field visits, hire and assign staff to locations, and work as a liaison between staff and the head start principal, as well as between each family and the program.
