Position Summary Information
Minimum Qualifications
Previous training and experience as an orientation leader at Appalachian State University.
License/Certification Required Essential Job Functions
Support new and incoming students and families throughout the orientation and transitional experience. Serve as an orientation leader for the Office of New Mountaineer & Family Engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as an Appalachian Orientation Leader
Work Schedule/Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with some evening hours possible.
Number of Hours Per Week 30-40 Number of Months Per Year 5 Mandatory Staff No Physical Demands of Position

Hiring Range $11.00-$16.00
Pay will be commensurate with applicant competencies, budget, equity and market considerations.
