Feldheym Central Library is looking for dedicated adult volunteers to support learners in improving their reading, writing, speaking, and digital literacy skills. As an Adult Literacy Tutor, you'll work one-on-one or in small groups with adults from diverse backgrounds - some learning English as a second language, others looking to boost their confidence with everyday literacy. You'll help them read more fluently, practice writing skills, or navigate basic computer tasks.

No prior experience is needed - just patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping others grow. Library staff will provide all training and materials. Volunteer Hours: Mondays & Tuesdays: 12:00 PM - 5:30 PM Wednesdays & Thursdays: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Minimum commitment: 5-10 hours/month for 6 months What You Need to Qualify Minimum qualifications may vary by department.
