Job Description Summary
Assist the Food Science Graduate Program Specialist with the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of program-based events and administrative projects, including document formatting and editing, room reservations, and other logistical support.
The selected individual is required to actively participate in the development, preparation, and on-site staffing of the following program events. Attendance and in-person support for each event is mandatory:
  • College Bowl Meet & Greet: March 13, 2026 | 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • College Bowl Competition: March 14, 2026 | 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Networking Night: April 10, 2026 | 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Awards Night: May 1, 2026 | 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include event planning, guest tracking, document formatting and editing, other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, Adobe PDF, library systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn some Chapman platforms.
  • Current Food Science Student (not mandatory).
