Job Description:


Description/Duties

  • The managing editor for Criterion is expected to manage content and communication forย several Criterion pieces per quarter, depending on need, and after receiving explicitย instruction from the chief editor and faculty sponsor.
  • The managing editor is responsible for attending weekly editorial meetings, creating the agenda ahead of the meeting time, taking notes on the agenda during the meetings, managing Criterion drive, and making the editorial team aware of the schedule outlined by faculty staff and the chief editor.

  • Must be a registered La Sierra Student
  • Must complete Student Authorization Form via Etrieve with Silvia Stenner (Office ofย Student Life)
  • Must have received Work Clearance Approval from Human Resources before taking onย assignment

Expectations

  • Editors are not to exceed more than 2 hours clocked in per-pay period (2-week payย period)
