Title: Student Council Advisor

Job Description: Developing leadership skills in students by delegating responsibilities and duties. The goal of the Student Council is to involve the student body in a variety of activities that foster school spirit.
Effective: 2026 - 2027 School Year
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience working with high school students and coordinating events and activities.
- Skills: Excellent management, organizational, and communication skills.
Supervision of students.
- Education: Valid PA teaching certificate.
Essential Functions:
- Overseeing students during all activities and ensuring they follow the student council guidelines and school procedures.
- Sharing information with all school stakeholders.
- Planning and supervising school dances, spirit days, and other school functions.
- Informing the community about school functions and student achievements.
- Participating in relevant conferences, workshops, and research to stay current.
- Listening to student concerns and working with the administration to find solutions.
- Gathering calendars for sports, school, and holidays to plan dates for the student council events and activities.
- Other duties as assigned by Administration.
- Has read and understands obligations as outlined in MNSD School Board Policies.
Clearances: In accordance with the school code, Act 24 and All related clearances.
MNSD Supplementary Contract Unit Values 2026-2027
1-2 years experience - $438.00
3, 4, 5 years experience - $475.00
6 years & over experience - $510.00
