Drama Club Advisor

2026-2027 School Year

Keystone High School 
Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma.
  2. Ability to keep accurate records.
  3. Ability to work cooperatively with people.
  4. Neat and clean appearance.
  5. High moral and ethical character.
  6. Demonstrates aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
  7. Pass state mandated criminal background check.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Select appropriate performance material for production
  2. Select and schedule production dates, after checking with principals and superintendent's secretary for building schedules.
  3. Properly submit building permits for both rehearsal and performance dates.
  4. Adequately publicize and hold tryouts/auditions for roles in the production.
  5. Fairly assign roles in the play to Keystone students.
  6. Adequately prepare students for performance by scheduling and conducting rehearsals.
  7. Arrange for technical work to be completed in time for performance.
  8. Properly requite funds for necessary purchases, including but not limited to scripts, royalties, advertising costs, makeup, and costuming.
  9. Promote/advertise performance dates to the public.
  10. Properly collect and submit admissions and any donations or fundraiser money to the school treasurer in a timely manner.
  11. Supervise performances.
  12. Ensure that performance area is returned to pre-performance state upon completion of performance.
  13. Inventory and properly store costumes/make-up and any other supplies held by the drama department and intended for play production use.
