Job description

As a Senior Marketing Strategy Associate in Small Business Card Acquisition, you will analyze digital channel performance, uncover what drives results, and deliver recommendations that shape strategy, testing roadmaps, and optimization priorities. You will partner across analytics, finance, channel owners, and external partners to support customer acquisition and portfolio growth.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze performance across paid search, affiliate marketing, and paid social, including volume, efficiency, and profitability
  • Identify key drivers (audience, creative, offer, targeting, and funnel drop-off) and recommend actions to improve results
  • Track and communicate core metrics such as conversion rate, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, approval rate, and customer value
  • Monitor customer, competitor, and industry trends to surface opportunities, risks, and strategic implications
  • Support channel strategy development and initiatives across the small business card portfolio
  • Partner with channel owners and agencies on test-and-learn plans; define success measures, evaluate impact, and recommend scale or iterate decisions
  • Improve measurement, reporting, and attribution practices by translating analytics into practical enhancements
  • Create concise, executive-ready narratives and materials that drive clear decisions
  • Present insights in an action-oriented way and influence outcomes through data and storytelling

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing analytics, strategy/consulting, or a related role
  • Experience supporting at least one acquisition channel (paid search, affiliate marketing, paid social, display, or search engine marketing)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into business recommendations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including building executive-ready materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial services, financial technology, e-commerce, or another acquisition-focused marketing environment
  • Familiarity with experimentation, test design, marketing measurement, and attribution concepts
  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools (for example, Tableau), web analytics platforms, or SQL
  • Understanding of customer acquisition economics and performance marketing metrics
