Job description

To keep pace with the growth of our business, Four Inc. is seeking a hard-working, business-minded, team player to join our Sales team as a Strategic Development Representative. Successful individuals will have great opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Position Description:
The Strategic Development Representative plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and qualifying leads to help drive the growth of technology companies' public sector business. This individual is responsible for executing a variety of business development campaigns and relationship management and development to grow our vendor and partner business aligned to annual plans and sales goals. This is a high-visibility position that requires daily interaction with company leadership, customers, and industry contacts.
This individual will perform the following tasks - Conduct lead generation activities via call campaigns and other demand generating techniques to uncover new business opportunities for technology companies:
  • Conduct basic research to identify opportunities
  • Execute sales activities in alignment to BDR 1 KPIs and metrics
  • Prospect, call, set up and confirm meetings between technology companies and government customers
  • Document all calls and other sales activities and customer/technology company interaction in SugarCRM, and create and link to appropriate opportunities in the system
  • Execute and adhere to FOUR INC lead tracking documentation and submission process
  • Establish and maintain ongoing business relationships with technology company reps, channel partner reps, and government customers to grow FOUR INC contact database and overall public sector network
  • Meet and exceed established performance goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Daily Work Activities:
  • Conduct lead development calls
  • Conduct pre-call planning activities and research
  • Document activities in company systems
  • Set meetings and track results
  • Proactively pursue knowledge of relevant products and public sector markets

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in business or relevant subject
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales or related field
