Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager with exceptional sales acumen and strong bilingual communication skills. This role reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and plays a critical part in expanding Paxiom's footprint across the Western United States and Latin America.
Location: Nevada (preferred) with ability to cover California territory
Travel: Frequent domestic and international travel required, including Latin America
Languages: Bilingual Spanish/English required
Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Paxiom with deep understanding of our solutions and value proposition.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and grow revenue.
  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities across the U.S. West Coast and Latin America.
  • Meet regularly with potential clients-building strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding their operational needs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain structured pipeline management.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth areas, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Draft customer proposals and contracts in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Design, and Project teams based in the United Kingdom.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships, track activities, and guide data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse metrics, and communicate key business trends to leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of all Paxiom hardware, software, and service offerings.
  • Represent Paxiom at trade show exhibitions and assist with the setup and packing down of stands and products.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in automation, manufacturing, technology, or related industries.
  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred, with ability to engage confidently with customers across Latin America.
  • Based in Nevada, with to travel frequently within the U.S. and internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent worker who also thrives in a collaborative team environment.
