Job description

We're Growing! Join Our Sioux Falls Team

New Position: Client Manager | Sioux Falls, SD

Exciting news at Limestone Bookkeeping! As we continue to grow our presence in Sioux Falls, we're looking for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of a portfolio of clients at the controller level. This isn't a data-entry role — it's a chance to be the trusted financial partner your clients rely on, while mentoring the team members who support you.

If you have 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience and thrive on accuracy, communication, and coaching others to do their best work, we want to talk to you.

The Role: Owning the Numbers, Elevating the Team

As a Client Manager, you'll provide controller-level services to a book of Limestone clients — reviewing team output, meeting directly with clients, and making sure every deliverable meets the Limestone standard before it reaches their inbox.

What You'll Do:

  • Own Client Deliverables: Review the work of team members, meet with clients as needed, and provide financial reports and cash flow analysis using Limestone tools.

  • Coach & Support: Mentor staff — especially new team members — on The Limestone Way and our culture, ensuring quality and communication stay consistent across every account.

  • Manage the Details: Review monthly invoices, communicate scope-of-work changes, resolve client issues, and collect on past-due accounts before they become a problem.

  • Stay Organized: Use the team calendar, task management software, and QB Time to keep client work — and your own billable time — on track.

  • Communicate with Purpose: Present findings clearly to clients and teammates, define problems, and draw conclusions backed by reliable data.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business.

  • Experience: 5+ years in bookkeeping or accounting; controller-level experience preferred.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

  • Mindset: Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable holding yourself and others accountable to deadlines.

  • People Skills: A natural communicator who can coach, present, and build trust with clients and teammates alike.

Why Limestone? (The Perks)

  • Competitive Pay: $67,100–$72,000 starting salary (DOE).

  • Health & Wellness: Health insurance coverage (up to $330/mo), AFLAC, and $50K in company-paid life insurance.

  • Future Planning: 401(k) matching to help you reach your long-term goals.

  • Lifestyle: Cell phone stipend and generous PTO with rollover options.

  • Growth Path: A clear, structured progression framework that rewards deepening expertise — from mastering the fundamentals to becoming a strategic advisor clients rely on.

  • The Vibe: A fun, supportive environment where your contributions are celebrated.

Ready to Own Your Book of Business?

If you're ready to bring controller-level expertise to a growing Sioux Falls team, we want to hear from you.

Apply today and help us write the next chapter of Limestone Bookkeeping!
