Description

Join Noma Security and help shape the future of AI security in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Noma is building the first comprehensive AI Security and Governance Platform, helping organizations adopt AI and LLMs with confidence and control. As AI becomes core to modern enterprises, we provide seamless visibility and protection across the entire AI lifecycle. Our team works at the intersection of AI, security, and cloud, shaping a new category in a rapidly evolving market. At Noma, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with exceptional people on technology that truly matters.

We’re looking for a VP Finance to build and lead Noma’s finance function from the ground up. This is the first finance leadership role in the company - a unique opportunity to design, implement, and scale the entire financial infrastructure of a fast-growing startup. You’ll be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, owning financial planning, fundraising support, operational rigor, and long‑term financial strategy.

This is a high‑impact, hands‑on leadership role for someone who has experienced startup growth firsthand and knows how to build structure without slowing momentum.

What You’ll Do
  • Build & Lead the Finance Function from Scratch
  • Establish and scale all core finance operations: FP&A, accounting, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, controls, and compliance.
  • Select and implement financial systems, tools, and processes that support rapid growth.
  • Build and lead the finance team over time, setting a strong foundation for excellence and scalability.
  • Drive Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Own company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial modeling.
  • Provide clear, data‑driven insights to support strategic decisions, growth initiatives, and resource allocation.
  • Manage cash runway, scenario planning, and capital efficiency.
  • Be a Strategic Business Partner
  • Partner closely with the CEO, founders, and leadership team on company strategy and execution.
  • Support board reporting with clear financial narratives and KPIs.
  • Help shape pricing strategy, business models, and expansion plans.
  • Lead Fundraising & Investor Relations Support
  • Own financial preparation for fundraising processes: models, data rooms, diligence materials.
  • Work closely with investors and external stakeholders as a trusted financial leader.
  • Ensure Governance, Compliance & Operational Rigor
  • Oversee accounting, tax, audits, and regulatory compliance across geographies.
  • Establish strong financial controls and risk management processes.
  • Build scalable reporting infrastructure aligned with global growth.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in finance roles, with significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience in a high‑growth startup environment (early or growth stage).
  • Experience building or scaling a finance function, ideally as a first or early finance leader.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Hands‑on approach – comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.
  • Experience supporting fundraising rounds and working with investors and board members.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate numbers into strategic insight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA – advantage).
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or AI companies.
  • Experience managing multi‑entity, international financial operations.
  • Background in both startup and larger organization environments.
  • Experience implementing financial systems (ERP, BI, FP&A tools).
  • Previous experience building and mentoring finance teams.
Perks & Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Home office setup reimbursement
  • Short‑ and long‑term disability insurance
  • Life and accident insurance
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO) - We trust you to manage your time
  • A warm, supportive, and people‑first company culture
  • A global work environment with teams across Tel Aviv, the US, the Netherlands, and London
  • Equity options that let you share in Noma’s growth and success
