Job Description
โ Perform electrical installation for residential solar PV systems, including:
โ Service upgrades, main panel work, and subpanels
โ Line-side taps, backfed breakers, and interconnections
โ Installation of inverters, batteries, and disconnects
โ Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and utility requirements
โ Lead or support electrical portions of installs on active job sites
โ Verify system design against site conditions and flag discrepancies
โ Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
โ Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and utility representatives
โ Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
โ Complete required documentation (photos, as-builts, commissioning reports)
โ Provide guidance and oversight to apprentices and install crews
โ Train team members on electrical best practices and safety standards
โ Support a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Job Requirements
โ Must be a Journeyman Electrician.
โ Must have Tremendous Customer Service Skills, Written and Verbal.
โ Understand Troubleshooting Techniques.
โ Independent Worker with Little to No Direct Supervision.
โ Aware of NEC code and making sure all work is code compliant.
โ Inventory and Tool Management.
โ Ability to use basic installation tools, power tools and hand tools.
โ Good physical condition, able to lift minimum of 50lbs, and have the ability to climb ladders.
โ Valid driverโs license and an acceptable driving record.
โ Must be able to pass background check and Drug Screen.
โ Punctual, regular and consistent attendance record.
โ Install and Troubleshoot lighting, panels, disconnects, conduit, solar panels, inverters.
