This is an excellent opportunity to join an all-CRNA practice in a rural Nebraska community that needs your expertise! At SRMC, our CRNAs work independently to provide a full spectrum of anesthesia services. Enjoy a rotating schedule of 3 weeks on and 1 week off (13 weeks off per year)! We also provide an additional 2 weeks of PTO and 1 week of continuing medical education (CME). We offer a very competitive salary based on experience, call pay, incentive pay, and a comprehensive benefits and retirement package.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of anesthesia services customarily provided by CRNAs.
  • Cases include a mix of General, Endoscopy, Urology, Orthopedics, OB, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Podiatry.
  • Provide services in the Emergency Department, as well as perform ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and central line placement.
  • Conduct an anesthesia practice in accordance with the ethics of the nursing profession and in compliance with currently approved practices in the field of anesthesia.

Requirements

  • License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska.
  • Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
  • Complete the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor's certification examination.
  • Prefer 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Cardiac Life Support/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). If certifications are not current, RN shall participate in classes offered at SRMC.
