Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
The Executive Director of Quality has the responsibility for supervising the department of Quality Services . The Executive Director of Quality assures competent staff meets patient care and department needs, appropriate supplies and functional equipment. The Executive Director of Quality assures compliance with all regulatory requirements, efficient operation of the department and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. The Executive Director of Quality works collaboratively with the Medical Staff leadership in support of Quality Services department goals. The Executive Director of Quality provides leadership to the organization for compliance with TJC and Title 22 standards. The Executive Director of Quality supports outcomes management and other related initiatives as developed and implemented.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
  • Los Angeles City Fire/Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
  • CA RN license
  • BSN degree
  • CPHQ certification
  • Minimum five years current management expertise in the quality management
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Health Care Administration, management or related field
  • Current CPHQ credentialing
