About this Role
Quanta Services is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of material, equipment, and resource movement across Quanta Services construction and infrastructure projects. This role ensures that crews, materials, and heavy equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time, and within budget - keeping field operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate combines strong supply-chain judgment with a practical understanding of the demands of active job sites.
What You'll Do
  • Plan and manage the end-to-end logistics of equipment, materials, and heavy equipment across multiple concurrent project sites.
  • Coordinate transportation, dispatch, and delivery schedules with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to meet construction timelines.
  • Manage contracts with equipment suppliers including tracking milestones, factory acceptance tests and preparation for shipment.
  • Partner with project managers and supply chain management to forecast needs and resolve supply gaps before they impact the schedule.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policy, including permitting for oversized/overweight loads.
  • Manage the international shipping of equipment from various countries into the United States
  • Monitor and report on key metrics - on-time delivery, freight cost, equipment utilization, and inventory accuracy - and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field - or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of logistics/supply-chain experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Working knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, FMCSA) and permitting for heavy/oversized loads.
  • Proficiency with logistics/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under deadline pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience in construction, utility, energy, or manufacturing logistics.
  • APICS, CSCP, or similar supply-chain certification.ng & Scheduling Professional), CCP, or EVP certification.
