Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Partner with management and employees to identify employee development needs and work collaboratively to develop strategies to meet targeted needs and increase operational efficiencies.
  • Support the design and implementation of corporate talent management processes and programs, including employee on-boarding, learning, talent assessment, leadership development and succession planning.
  • Manage talent vendor relationships and maintain effective communications with key contacts.
  • Utilize methods and metrics to track and measure success (e.g., surveys, dashboard reports) and deliver reliable talent data to the organization.
  • Develop and implement organization and talent development solutions that support business needs.
  • Manage the measurement and analysis of learning programs and initiatives to measure the application, transfer and impact of learning solutions from the learning environment to the success on the job.
  • Create and implement learning strategies, messages, tools and cascade mechanisms to ensure employee awareness and understanding of strategies and priorities.
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, milestones and key measures for assigned deliverables and communications of designated program/projects.
  • Ensure assigned deliverables meet project objectives and timelines, recognizing and managing dependencies between other projects and initiatives.
  • Implement project plans for integrating organizational initiatives from multiple areas to achieve maximum effectiveness.
  • Support delivery of various learning to employees.
  • Work with managers to assess and develop their direct reports.
  • Create tools and provide framework for program development initiatives.
  • Manage the research of best practices and benchmarks best in class organizations to keep the company appropriately forward facing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) as well as Document 360, UKG Pro Learning, Articulate, Canva, Descript, Adobe Suite.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Human Resources Development required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of management learning experience in designing, planning and implementing learning programs.
  • Experience with organizational learning and development program delivery.
  • Internal communications and project management experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and disseminating internal communications for learning change initiatives.
  • Experience working in a global multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience in the Logistics industry preferred. Ability to travel domestically up to 20% as required in order to support the company's operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
  • Job may require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location
