As a Sr Logistics Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing strategic leadership and project management for our Process Technology business. You will be responsible for overseeing the SAP ERP Business Transformation Program. This leadership role is responsible for the Logistics workstream to include Logistics Management, Warehouse Management, and Trade Compliance processes, supporting the implementation and utilization of next generation SAP ERP capabilities.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall design, build, test, and implementation of the SAP ERP solutions for Logistics by providing strategic direction and driving the execution, enhancing user experience and ensuring the SAP solutions meet the evolving needs of the business. You will collaborate with process owners and IT to deliver defined business outcomes.
You'll flourish in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where success is rewarded. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with proven ability to lead a team, and detailed and data oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition, the candidate must be able to operate in highly matrixed environment, communicate with all levels of the organization, influence, and gain commitment.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Business Engagement and Change Leadership:
  1. Serve as a strategic partner to business and IT leaders and align logistics and enterprise objectives.
  2. Act as the primary business translator by converting operational requirements into SAP solutions.
  3. Lead organizational change, stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption initiatives.

Program and Transformation Leadership:
  • Own and lead the end-to-end logistics process transformation within the SAP ERP program
  • Validate logistics-related user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules to ensure accuracy and business value
  • Support Business Analysts/FILs by clarifying exceptions, scenarios, and operational details
  • Ensure logistics requirements align with enterprise standards and approved deviations
  • Own process-level data validation for logistics master and transactional data
  • Support data cleansing, migration validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Provide formal business sign-off inputs to support testing and cutover readiness
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of business processes by leveraging SAP best practices / Global Design Models
  • Facilitate adoption through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Help identify workarounds, root causes, and stabilization priorities.
  • Develop and oversee test plans, cases, and scripts for User Acceptance (UAT). Provide formal business sign-off
  • Support alignment with overall strategy, program governance, and transformation goals
  • Oversee activities in incident resolution, service request fulfillment, and the prioritization of configurations or changes required for business operations
  • Analyze and optimize SAP order management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with process owners to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Lead the development of SAP training content and roll-out plan and the execution of the training to end users

Governance, Risk, and Performance:
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and cross-functional challenges across global teams
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations, export controls, customs requirements, and corporate policies
  • Lead incident resolution, service request prioritization, and configuration/change management impacting logistics operations
  • Develop and execute business continuity and contingency plans for SAP go-live and steady-state operations

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics transportation and warehouse operations for a manufacturing shipper
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proven experience leading SAP ERP implementation (S/4 HAHA preferred), and with system integration and data management
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, trade compliance, order-to-cash processes, and inventory management principles
  • Deep understanding of SAP logistics and order management processes and best practices
  • Proficiency in SAP modules related to logistics and order management

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is <$136,000 - $170,000> for Rosemont IL. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
