Leora Behavioral Health provides a comprehensive continuum of outpatient behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. Our programs include Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient Services, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Ambulatory Detox, and Case Management. Our mission is to expand access to high-quality care and support individuals on their journey toward lasting recovery and wellness.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Senior Business Development Representative to lead strategic outreach initiatives, expand referral networks, and drive admissions growth throughout the Dayton market and surrounding communities.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for developing and executing business development and outreach strategies that increase community awareness, strengthen referral partnerships, and drive admissions growth across all service lines. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will play a critical role in expanding Leora Behavioral Health's presence within the behavioral health and substance use treatment community.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare business development professional with a proven track record of building referral relationships, generating admissions, and cultivating meaningful partnerships throughout the healthcare and behavioral health landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans designed to achieve census, admissions, and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, emergency departments, physicians, therapists, behavioral health providers, substance use treatment programs, community agencies, legal and judicial partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new referral sources, partnership opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Represent Leora Behavioral Health at networking events, conferences, community meetings, and educational programs.
  • Conduct facility tours, presentations, and outreach meetings with referral partners and community organizations.
  • Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and operations teams to align outreach efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and provide regular reporting on referral activity, pipeline development, and admissions trends.
  • Ensure all business development efforts comply with organizational policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, admissions, outreach, or healthcare marketing.
  • Demonstrated success developing referral partnerships and driving admissions growth.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment services.
  • Exceptional networking, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and achieve measurable growth objectives.
  • Experience using CRM systems and tracking outreach metrics preferred.
  • Existing relationships within the Dayton healthcare and behavioral health market are highly desirable.
