Job Description:

Position: SQL Developer

Location: Miami, FL 33132

Duration: 24 Months (with 3 years of renewal option)

Note: Position is in person, on-site only. No remote work is permitted.


Position Description
Skilled SQL Developer needed to join our functional and technical teams, focusing on the design and implementation of robust database structures to support our current Students Information legacy system migration to FOCUS system who understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of database development, from initial SQL Database design to the creation of complex SSIS packages for seamless data integration.
  • Coding high-performance, efficient SQL queries and utilizing DBeaver to manage and build the specific tables and fields required to house critical organizational data.
  • Work with our Developers and interact with Database Administrators as needed.
  • Beyond standard Microsoft environments, you will be reading data from FOCUS systems in Postgres as needed.
  • A sharp eye for detail is essential, as you will be tasked with rigorous data validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of every record processed.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
  • Will take into consideration equivalent work experience.

Qualification Experience:
  • At least 5 years of IT work experience as a SQL Programmer with Databases design using Microsoft SQL server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS packages).
  • Knowledge in DEV OPS environments and deployments.
  • Knowledge in API development is preferred but not required.
