I.       POSITION              :  Digital Media Fall Supervisor

II.      STATUS                :  Extra-Curricular 

III.     WORK YEAR        :  Fall Athletic Season

IV.    SALARY                 :  $3000 Stipend

V.    RESPONSIBLE TO :  HS Principal and Athletic Director

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficiency in (or ability to master) Watchfire Ignite Sports software.
  • Strong creative eye for large-scale outdoor LED content.
  • Ability to remain calm and lead in a high-pressure, live environment.

GENERAL DUTIES:

The Digital Media Supervisor serves as the "Producer/Director" of the stadium's gameday atmosphere. Using Watchfire Ignite Sports software, the Supervisor transforms student-created content into a high-impact visual show for Varsity Football, Soccer, and Field Hockey. The primary goal is to lead the strategic planning of the live digital show while mentoring a student crew to eventually take over technical operations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Design and manage screen layouts to ensure the game clock, live stats, sponsor advertisements, and hype videos are displayed simultaneously and clearly.
  • Pre-load "Playlists" with videos, music, and static ads curated from digital media classes.
  • Utilize "Hot Keys" to trigger instant crowd engagement prompts (e.g., First Down graphics, Touchdown celebrations) in real-time.
  • Act as the primary lead for ensuring all digital partner "Ad Zones" are active and commercial loops run to satisfy school sponsorship agreements.
  • Liaise with the Athletic Director and Digital Media teachers to coordinate content and schedules.
  • Student Leadership
    • Recruit and lead a student club specifically for stadium operations.
    • Train students on the Ignite Sports interface and "multi-sport" profile switching.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Principal/Athletic DirectorÂ
