Position Overview

The Floor Lead is responsible for maintaining standard operating procedures at our retail store. This candidate will be an inspiring team member and leader, ready to ensure productivity and quality performance are met to achieve our long-term company vision.

Job Functions

  • Create and promote a healthy team culture where individual employees have the capacity and feel empowered to work autonomously while striving to meet a common collaborative goal
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire team members to continuously grow, learn, and evolve personally and professionally
  • Help build an exceptional team that will uphold and deliver our mission, vision, and goals to employees and customers.
  • Set the standard for excellent customer service by providing guidance to staff on produce knowledge, customer focus, and personalized service.
  • Ensures the smooth and seamless functioning of operations
  • Collaborate with inventory control to ensure accurate product counts, proper labeling, and organization of products on the floor.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in onboarding new employees & provide ongoing training.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee cash handling procedures & maintain accurate financial records.
  • Address customer concerns, resolve conflicts, and handle escalated issues in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Oversee visual merchandising to create attractive product displays to enhance the customer experience.
  • Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness standards, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both customers and staff.
  • Assisting in the store's opening and closing protocols
  • Monitor the store's energy by ensuring that front-line employees are always shouting their WELCOME's; the overall vibes are upbeat and cheerful, and customers are leaving 100% satisfied with plans to return
  • Administer and documenting all breaks to employees at appropriate times
  • Serve as the liaison between receptionists/sales associates and managers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • High school diploma
  • Full time
  • Open availability preferred (must be able to work 2 weekend days Fri-Sun)
  • 2 years of leadership experience in retail/hospitality
