About Transaction Services in the Americas:
Transaction Services ('TS') is part of ING's Wholesale Banking division and operates globally with daily banking related products including Working Capital Solutions, Trade Finance Solutions, Payments & Cash Management, and Liquidity Management Solutions like cash pooling, virtual cash management or solutions offered via Bank Mendes Gans.

About the position:
The role is based out of New York and reports to the Head of Transaction Services Sales for the Americas.
As a Transaction Services (TS) Associate/Analyst, the individual will work closely with the Transaction Services Sales Consultants in their sales and TS relationship activities in the region. The TS Sales Consultants focus on Payments & Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Corporate Card solutions to ING's Wholesale Banking clients, as well as Trade Financial Solutions.
The candidate will provide support in the following areas:
  • Marketing: drive for new business development, expand network business by deepening existing relationships, identify new sales opportunities with prospects, drive TS cross-sell by identifying new opportunities, prepare client pitch presentations
  • Deal Structuring: prepare pricing, conduct financial analysis, help with solutioning, development of Cash & Liquidity Management structures and engage as appropriate with relevant stakeholders
  • Pricing Approval: run pricing process and manage internal pricing models, submit for approval
  • Client Interaction and negotiation: interact with clients throughout the process, coordinate response to RFPs and other proposals
  • Product knowledge and implementation support: provide clients and team with solutions details and work on client implementations with stakeholders
  • Manage TS relationship: work closely with relevant areas of the organization, delivering TS solutions to client portfolio
  • Stay on top of trends: stay current on market trends, regulatory developments and best practice

Flexibility / Efficiency
The role requires a high level of coordination with various internal stakeholders, both locally as well as internationally. The Analyst | Associate will be fully involved in ensuring smooth and efficient coordination throughout the network.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Understanding of Cash & Liquidity Management and Trade Finance Solutions products for clients operating globally, across multiple sectors.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Cash & Liquidity Management Solutions space, possible Trade Finance Solutions or prior experience in an Analyst role.
  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar field.
  • Strong financial and analysis capabilities.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Self-starter, can-do mindset, able to work without direction.
  • Team player.
  • Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.

Salary Range $120,000-$175,000
The salary range listed reflects base salary only. This role is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus program.
