Internship Term: Fall 2026 (September-December)
Internship Location: on-site in Indianapolis, IN
Anticipated Time Commitment: Opportunities available at approximately 20-25 hours per week, or approximately 40 hours per week

The Scouting Report:
We are looking for the following qualities and characteristics in a Ticket Sales Intern:

  • This internship requires flexibility with work schedule. Interns will be required to work games and other company and sales events during the evening and weekend.

The Game Plan: This is a great launching point to begin your career in sports ticket sales. You'll learn how to help our Corporate Ticket Sales Managers and Group Event Specialists remain as efficient as possible. You'll be doing a lot of their administrative work. Best of all, you'll be able to get actual hands-on sales experience as we allow you to shadow the Ticket Sales representatives on the phones, out of the office on appointments, and at different events during the season and during the off-season. This is a paid internship with flexible hours to accommodate your class schedule.
Game Recap of Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Researching qualified leads.
  • Researching local businesses, organizations, teams, etc.
  • Mailing out large ticket blocks.
  • Completing data entry utilizing Microsoft Excel and Archtics.
  • Creating invoices, receipts, flyers, order forms, and more.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of ticket sales events.
  • Shadowing ticket sales reps on the phones and on appointments.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: The Ticket Sales Intern must be enrolled in college course(s) as a junior, senior, or graduate student while maintaining an internship with the Indiana Pacers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
