Job description

Job Overview: The Georgia Swarm are seeking interns with a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service to join their Inside Sales team for the upcoming 2026-2027 lacrosse season. The purpose of this internship is to provide a unique opportunity to connect with current fans while also cultivating new relationships with potential fans. The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic, can thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment, and have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the presence of clients and prospects. Candidates should also have a comfort in speaking with individuals over the phone.
Role Requirements:
  • Sell season, group, and premium tickets.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients.
  • Connect with prospective and current buyers via face-to-face meetings, virtual appointments, phone calls, email, text messaging, arena tours, etc.
  • We will occasionally ask that you work with team members at events outside of the office in the community.
  • Be willing to learn our ticketing software (Archtics) and our CRM platform (Salesforce) while using it on a daily basis.
  • This internship will be onsite, not remote. We ask that all individuals be willing to work 2-4 days per week onsite.
  • Be able to maintain confidential information in a professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Any prior sales experience in sports or another field.
  • Willingness to learn about our ticketing software and what it takes to be a successful salesperson.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot client issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Interest in working in the sports industry.
