TWG Global AI

Full-time

Job description

The Organization
At TWG Group Holdings, LLC ("TWG Global"), we drive innovation and business transformation across a diverse portfolio-including investments, finance, insurance, and media-by leveraging data and AI as core assets. Our AI-first, cloud-native approach delivers real-time intelligence and interactive business applications, empowering informed decision-making for both customers and employees.
We prioritize responsible data and AI practices, ensuring ethical standards and regulatory compliance. Our decentralized structure enables each business unit to operate autonomously, supported by the central AI Solutions Group, while strategic partnerships with leading data and AI vendors fuel transformative projects in marketing, operations, and product development.
You will collaborate with management to advance our data and analytics transformation, enhance productivity, and enable agile, data-driven decisions. By leveraging relationships with top tech startups and universities, you will help create competitive advantages and drive industry innovation.
At TWG Global, your contributions will support our goal of sustained growth and superior returns, as we deliver significant value and impact across our businesses.
The Role
As a Senior AI Product Manager on the AI Solutions Development and Product Team, you'll sit at the intersection of sports and AI, partnering with sports organizations to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can elevate athletic performance, optimize operations, deepen fan engagement, and unlock new revenue streams across the entire enterprise - from the training facility to the front office to game day, and across ticketing, sponsorship, content, and commercial operations.
You'll work across a unique landscape: TWG Global's own professional sports franchises serve as both partners and proving grounds for AI innovation, while our solutions extend well beyond our owned properties to serve professional leagues, collegiate athletic programs, and sports organizations of all sizes. This gives you a rare combination of direct access to elite sports environments and the opportunity to scale what works across the broader sports ecosystem.
Your primary responsibility will be translating the real-world needs of coaches, front offices, performance science teams, league operations, and the commercial and business operations functions - marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, content, venue operations, and fan experience - into AI-powered products that actually get used. You'll own the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, applying a product operating model that prioritizes user adoption, measurable outcomes, and design excellence.
This role goes well beyond roadmap management. You'll need to understand both the performance side of sport (biomechanics, player tracking, injury risk modeling, game strategy) and the business of sport (fan data and segmentation, dynamic ticket pricing, sponsorship valuation, content production, and stadium operations), and work shoulder-to-shoulder with data scientists and engineers to turn those inputs into scalable, production-grade AI solutions. You'll also drive integration of advanced AI capabilities like time series forecasting, computer vision, conversational AI, and content generation into our sports product suite.
You'll be the connective tissue between our technical teams and our sports partners, internal and external, ensuring that what we build is grounded in how organizations actually operate - across basketball/football operations, the front office, marketing and revenue teams, and game-day venue operations. This is an onsite position with time split between our downtown LA and Santa Monica offices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for AI solutions serving the entire sports organizations - including TWG's owned franchises, professional leagues, and collegiate programs - spanning both on-court performance (performance optimization, injury prevention, scouting and talent evaluation) and the commercial and back-office functions that drive the business (fan engagement, ticketing, sponsorship, content, merchandise, and venue operations).
  • Build deep relationships with stakeholders across professional and collegiate settings - performance directors, coaching staffs, and analytics leads on the performance side, and marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, content, venue operations, and front-office executives on the commercial side - to understand their workflows, pain points, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive end-to-end product development from discovery and requirements through design, build, and launch, ensuring solutions are built for real-world adoption, not just technical capability.
  • Lead the integration of AI technologies - including time series forecasting, computer vision, reinforcement learning, conversational AI, and generative content - into the sports product suite, ensuring components are modular, scalable, and interoperable.
  • Work across data science, engineering, design, and business development teams to deliver robust, high-quality AI solutions aligned with organizational standards and partner expectations.
  • Define and track success metrics tied to user engagement and business outcomes - including commercial KPIs such as ticketing conversion and yield, sponsorship ROI, content output and cost-to-serve, and fan lifetime value - using data to continuously improve product-market fit across performance and commercial verticals.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices across all sports AI products, including athlete and fan data privacy, data governance and access controls, algorithmic transparency, and regulatory and league compliance.
  • Manage product budgets and development timelines, ensuring investments align with revenue goals and deliver measurable ROI for both TWG and our sports partners.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, AI solutions development, or a similar technical leadership role, with meaningful exposure to sports, sports technology, or performance science.
  • Proven track record building and shipping AI/ML-powered products, ideally across both performance domains (player tracking, biomechanical analysis, predictive modeling, sports analytics) and commercial domains (fan engagement and CRM, ticketing and pricing, sponsorship, content, or marketing technology).
  • Deep understanding of how sports organizations operate - across both the competition side and the business side (marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, content, and venue operations) - and the ability to translate that context into product decisions.
  • Familiarity with unifying fragmented data sources into governed data platforms, and experience delivering products on top of a shared data foundation or customer/fan data platform.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and external partners to drive strategic AI initiatives from concept to production.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML governance frameworks, athlete and fan data privacy considerations, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI platforms and partnerships with major AI and data vendors.
  • Strong communicator who can move fluidly between a conversation with a head coach, a chief revenue officer, and a technical architecture review.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Sports Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits
Position Location:
This position will work out of the TWG AI offices in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, CA. Relocation support may be provided for the right candidate.
Compensation:
The expected annual salary range for this role is $190,000-290,000. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package.
TWG is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
