Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As a member of the newly established NikeSKIMS Product Creation team, you will work in a fast-moving, agile environment in close partnership with SKIMS. You will collaborate with NIKE onshore and offshore footwear functional partners, including Innovation, Design, Product Management, Product Engineer, Material Development, Product Testing, PCC, PMO, and SKIMS partners.
You will serve as a key point of contact between PCC/PMO partners and the PHK product team, ensuring communication throughout the product creation and commercialization process is complete, clear, and accurate. Additionally, you will navigate the NIKE matrix to ensure the team's process model aligns with NIKE Footwear Engineering standards and methodologies while consistently driving product excellence. This role reports to the Footwear Product Creation Lead.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The NikeSKIMS team is looking for a Senior Footwear Product Developer with overseas footwear experience to join the NikeSKIMS Product Creation team at PHK. This candidate will bring strong footwear product creation expertise, technical judgment, disciplined project management, and collaborative influence. They will translate design intent into manufacturable, high-quality products while driving speed, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment. They will leverage consumer insights to optimize business and product performance, evaluate trade-offs thoughtfully, and create the greatest benefit for the business, product, and consumer.
They move seamlessly between vision and execution, guiding teams through complex decisions while protecting design intent, performance, and craftsmanship. A natural problem solver and clear communicator, they thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly to shifting timelines, and lead with confidence, agility and precision. They navigate cross-functional and global partnerships, build trust across teams, and push product excellence forward through every phase of development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable footwear product development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Merchandising or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Proven project management and cross-functional leadership experience
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with senior leaders, global partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 35%, as needed

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you will drive product and process excellence across a diverse range of NikeSKIMS footwear products spanning sport and lifestyle. Your work will help enable continued growth for the team and business by translating ideas into scalable, consumer-driven products. From early concepts through commercialization, you will balance craft, performance, cost, and sustainability while keeping teams aligned and moving forward.
  • Lead footwear projects from 2D design through 3D prototyping and final commercialization
  • Partner daily with Design, Product Management, Product Engineering, Materials, Product Testing, and factory teams to deliver product excellence
  • Recommend materials, components, constructions, and applications that meet performance and craftsmanship standards
  • Manage timelines, product reviews, and critical dates across the full product creation process
  • Solve construction, tooling, and manufacturing challenges proactively
  • Ensure products are ready for scaled manufacturing while meeting NIKE EPIC product quality standards
