Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Creative Team is seeking a talented and detail-oriented, part-time, In-House Production Designer to join our dynamic and fast-paced organization. As an In-House Production Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's creative initiatives, producing high-quality visual materials and assets that align with the Pacers, Fever, Boom and Gainbridge Fieldhouse brand identity. This role requires a strong understanding of graphic design principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Update graphic templates to execute the production of various visual assets, including but not limited to print collateral, digital graphics, social media assets, in game graphics, partner presentations and other marketing materials.
  • Adapt design elements to carry out the continuity of the brand(s) throughout all collateral and based on supporting strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Assist creative team with building mockups and presentation decks.
  • Organize and maintain a library of digital assets, including logos, photos, and other design elements, ensuring they are easily accessible for the creative stakeholders.
  • Prepare final files for print and digital distribution, including file optimization, color correction, image retouching, and pre-press setup.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Manager and team members as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in graphic design and production. Inclusive of photo manipulation, typography, information hierarchy and page layout.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with After Effects and motion design a plus.
  • Knowledge of print production processes, color theory, typography, and layout design.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of social media standards and sizes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the sports industry, knowledge of the Pacers, Fever, Boom, NBA, WNBA, and G-League a plus.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
