Job description

#WeAreParamount on a mission to unleash the power of content... you in?
We've got the brands, we've got the stars, we've got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet - now all we're missing is... YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter - both for our audiences and our employees - and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Overview:

We're looking for someone who's naturally curious, biased toward action, and deeply focused on the outcomes of their work. You know that great design starts with recognizing the problem. Your work demonstrates pixel-level attention to detail alongside a proficient mastery of usability and interaction patterns at scale. You're able to turn complex ideas into simple, intuitive, and visually balanced experiences-no matter the device. Above all, you're a collaborative team player who lives and breathes interactive design.

Responsibilities:

  • Create pixel precise designs that are on brand and are created based on product requirements and partner input/feedback.
  • Research the competitive landscape, create user flows and work towards product designs that take into consideration evolving functionality, technological innovation and their effects on the product and company revenue.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering and other cross-functional partners to develop compelling solutions across multiple problem spaces like discovery and engagement.
  • Be an advocate for visual and functional consistency while also capitalizing on strategic opportunities to evolve our systems and interactions.
  • Leverage AI to both broaden the exploratory space and swift execution and delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of product design experience.
  • A solid UX and visual design sense, with an eye for simple, intuitive interfaces.
  • Experience quickly adapting to fast-moving timelines and variable project requirements
  • Work individually and with a deep sense of ownership.
  • Proactively gather consensus from multiple internal partners and be able to change tasks quickly based on shifting priorities and urgent deadlines.
  • Experience partnering with other designers, product managers, and engineering organizations to deliver cutting edge design across the entire product lifecycle. Been through multiple launches.
  • Ability to rapidly concept, ideate and execute multiple concepts.
  • An impressive portfolio that illustrates deep knowledge of functionality paired with a modern visual design sensibility.
  • Curiosity and comfort experimenting with evolving AI tools and workflows, including AI-assisted prototyping and vibe-coding tools, to expand how ideas are explored and built.
  • Experience working in an agile context, where they have been a member of a delivery team in a product development environment; working closely with product owners, developers and QA.
