Responsibilities:
The Sports Marketing Sales Consultant reports to the Nevco Sports Marketing Sales Manager and is responsible for selling sponsorships to local businesses. These sponsorship dollars help fulfill the local school's athletic facility equipment needs as well as generate revenue for the school's athletic budget.
  • Contact current and prospective businesses to discuss sports sponsorship opportunities.
  • Prepare solicitations for sports sponsorship projects.
  • Strategically grow and organize prospective sponsor lists.
  • Manage updates of inventory and sales tracking programs as projects progress.
  • Collaborate with the implementation team to discuss project progress.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-4 years of account management and/or business to business sales experience.
  • Sports industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication aptitude.
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships with current and potential customers.
