Job description

Job Summary:
CBS Sports is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to join their Data Delivery and Insights team, which is at the center of CBS Sports' data and statistics engine. This role involves leading the strategy, roadmap, and execution of sports data products and integrations that enhance fan experiences during game day.
Responsibilities:
• Own product strategy and quarterly roadmap execution for sports data delivery and insights capabilities.
• Define product requirements for live data pipelines, APIs, and downstream integrations that support fan-facing and business-critical use cases.
• Partner closely with engineering on architecture, sequencing, and tradeoffs across real-time and near-real-time systems.
• Lead vendor and data-provider relationships, including integration planning, issue resolution, and quality management.
• Drive alignment across analytics, product, editorial, commercial, and operations teams to ensure data products meet performance and business needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in sports, betting, gaming, or other data-driven platforms.
• Strong domain knowledge of sports data ecosystems, including live data feeds, betting markets, gaming mechanics, and related workflows.
• Technical fluency to partner effectively with engineering teams across APIs, integrations, and data architecture discussions.
• Hands-on experience working with APIs and data integrations, including tools such as Postman to test and validate endpoints.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and data providers.
• Proven ability to define, prioritize, and manage quarterly roadmaps.
• Familiarity with real-time data systems or streaming architectures.
• Working knowledge of data governance, SLAs, and compliance considerations in betting and gaming environments.
• Background in analytics, data platforms, or insights-focused products.
