OVERVIEW

Turnkey , a full-service experiential marketing agency based in Chicago that works with some of the largest and most respected brands in the country, is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Senior Account Manager servicing a n online sports betting client. The role will be based in Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for supporting the sponsorship activation efforts of one of Tur nkey’s clients, a sports betting company . The recognizable national brand has six current high profile partnerships and an ever expanding portfolio.

General

  • Become an expert on and immersed in the brand,ultimately becomingan extension of the client team.
  • Work directly with clientson a daily basis to understand needs, KPIs, and what you can do to help drive their business forward.

Planning

  • Together with the rest of the Turnkey Account Team,help lead the planning for activations across the calendar year and across multiple properties, including idea generation, fabrication, sourcing,staffingand implementationplanning.
  • Identifyconsistent threads that can weave through activations across different genres and different cities, making the brand instantly recognizable.
  • Oversee a team of two Account Executivesthat will lead all activation on-site.
  • Develop a relationship with property contactsthat can drive the client’s business forward and build a collaborativerelationship between property-agency-brand.
  • Together with the Group Account Director, manage the creative processthatultimately leadsto engaging, breakthrough concepts being delivered to the client.
  • Manage an overall yearly calendar that includes all activations in multiple cities, assigning a responsible party to each one.
  • Work with vendors such as fabricators or premium products companiesto help produce elementsrequiredfor the consumer experience.
  • Overcommunicate to clients in a way that they feel informed and educated on all plans and brand activity.

Implementation

  • Oversee Account Executives andassistthem in managing all on-siteeffortsas necessary.
  • Based on scheduling conflicts, be prepared to be the on-site lead when necessary.
  • Take abroadermore strategicview of on-site execution,identifyingelements tooptimizeand processes that can better servethe client,propertyand internal agency team.Serve as thekey on-site contact for various sponsorship activations atsports and entertainment properties.
  • Creatively solve problems as they arise on-site.

Post-Event

  • Manage allresultstracking in a comprehensive system or document, providingtimelyreporting to the clients.
  • Update clients daily on results, problems, solutions, staffperformanceand any other important nuances.
  • Ensureall elements are properly transported and stored in a way that they will be ready for the next activation.

Other

  • Manage overall program budgets across multipleproperties and projects, sendingregular,timelyupdates to clients so they are fully informed.
  • Continually deliver strategic thinking and points of view to the client,identifyingmoments to take advantageof,pieces of culture to tap into, or innovative newwayto engage their targets.
  • Work cross functionally with client social,contentor loyalty teams to ensure the activations areimpactingasmany parts of the business as possible, beyond our day-to-day sponsorship clients.
  • Drive a proactive culture among the entire account team, ensuring members arebringing solutions and ideas to the client as opposed to simply being told what to do.
  • This role requiresregulartravel.Nearly all of that travel will be within the state of Florida.
  • Workhand-in-handwith Turnkey Finance, Legal and HR business units on all pertinent matters.
  • Be willing to work nights andweekendsas necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Senior Account Manager qualifications include:

  • 4-7years experiencein sponsorship activation, sponsor servicing, sportsmarketingor relatedfield.Agency,teamor brand experience is preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to focus on several different projects at once.
  • Experience with brand activations, includingon-siteimplementation.
  • Ability to worknon-traditional hours, asrequired.
  • Ability to meet deadlines fortime sensitiveprojects.
  • Comfortable with client communication on the phone,via videoconference or in person.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work within a team setting.
  • Bachelor’sdegreerequired.
