Event Planning Intern – Society Sobriety

Location: New York City (Hybrid/In-Person)
Commitment: 10–20 hours per week
Type: Internship

About Society Sobriety

Society Sobriety is a fast-growing social events company creating alcohol-free experiences for young adults. From rooftop fitness classes and wellness events to DJ parties, dating mixers, and large-scale community gatherings, we’re redefining what nightlife and connection can look like without alcohol.

We’re looking for a highly organized, creative, and outgoing Event Planning Intern who is excited to gain hands-on experience building memorable events from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing events from start to finish
  • Coordinate with venues, vendors, DJs, sponsors, and instructors
  • Help recruit and communicate with volunteers and attendees
  • Create event timelines, checklists, and logistics documents
  • Assist with event setup, registration, and breakdown
  • Brainstorm creative event concepts and activations
  • Support sponsorship outreach and partnership fulfillment
  • Help manage guest lists and ticketing platforms
  • Coordinate event supplies and materials
  • Attend team meetings and contribute new ideas
  • Assist with social media content and event promotion when needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to attendees during events
