The Exhibit and Sponsorship Team is seeking a parttime Exhibit & Sponsorship Intern interested in gaining event operation experience and exposure to sponsorship and exhibitor management. The selected candidate will support daytoday coordination of exhibitor and sponsor deliverables, assist with logistics planning, and help ensure successful onsite execution at events.

Internship Overview:

  • Time Commitment: 25 hours per week
  • Internship Duration:  9/8/26-12/11/2626
  • Location: Remote
  • Salary: $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Exhibits & Sponsorship Management: 

  • Provides general support for sponsorship/advertising/exhibit related questions.
  • Manages operational tasks for the team including distribution of specifications to industry supporters for sponsorship/advertising activations for Scientific Sessions.
  • Review and maintain external industry facing websites.
  • Support management of sponsorship/advertising activations at Scientific Sessions.
  • Supports managing meeting event logistics.
  • Assists management with special projects as needed/assigned. 
  • Provide onsite support at Scientific Sessions 2026 from November 3-10 in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications
  • College seniors or graduate students majoring in event and hospitality management, or related field of study.
  • Experience managing projects preferred.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively to different audiences.  
  • Experience working with databases and electronic reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection.
  • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm Central Time.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.  For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.
