What You'll Do: As a Probation Duty Clerk, you'll support the department by handling a wide range of responsibilities, including: Entering and maintaining legal and case documentation in court management systems (Justware, Odyssey, ICourts, Spillman, and others) Serving as the first point of contact for probationers, staff, and the public-checking in clients and directing visitors appropriately Accepting and processing supervision, testing, and monitoring fees; balancing daily deposits Assisting probation officers with case management, reports, court orders, and violation processing Coordinating with court clerks to ensure proper documentation and required signatures Preparing professional correspondence, reports, and confidential documents Scanning, e-filing, and maintaining electronic records Acting as Administrative Supervisor when needed, including payroll processing, invoice handling, and file preparation Using calm communication and de-escalation techniques when interacting with challenging individuals Take a closer look at the full job description to see if this role is the right fit for you.
