Job description

The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is seeking a Contracts Specialist to provide support to the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC), supporting the Military Communications (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) mission areas.
Customer and Scope Overview
The customer is the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC), supporting the Military Communications (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) mission areas. SSC manages the acquisition and sustainment of space systems that provide assured communications and navigation capabilities to the warfighter. Under this effort, the contractor supports SSC leadership, program offices, and contracting organizations with administrative services, acquisition support, executive assistance, and analytical support. The work focuses on day-to-day administrative operations, personnel and records support, acquisition and procurement lifecycle assistance, executive coordination, and administrative analysis. Contractor personnel perform these functions in a supporting and advisory role, helping Government teams manage workload, maintain documentation, and execute mission requirements without performing inherently governmental functions.

Role Description:
Provides senior-level acquisition and procurement advisory support by assisting Government contracting personnel with acquisition planning, contract execution, documentation development, and procurement lifecycle coordination for SSC MilComm & PNT programs.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Support acquisition planning activities and procurement strategy development for assigned programs.
  • Assist with preparation, review, and coordination of acquisition documentation, including solicitations, statements of work, and contract modifications.
  • Provide advisory support to Government contracting personnel during contract award, execution, and administration activities.
  • Track procurement milestones, deliverables, and schedules and report status to Government stakeholders.
  • Coordinate acquisition actions with legal, financial, program, and technical offices.
  • Support market research, acquisition planning documentation, and source selection support materials.
  • Maintain complete, organized, and auditable contract files and procurement documentation repositories.
  • Prepare acquisition status reports, summaries, and briefing materials for leadership.
  • Identify procurement risks, schedule impacts, and documentation gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Work history in DOW, Air Force, and/or Space Force is required
  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.

Preferred Certifications:
  • DAU Acquisition 301 or equivalent
  • DAWIA Level II or III (Contracting or Program Management)
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)
  • Military Veteran or former Civil Service
