Compensation: Competitive Base Salary & Commission
Collins Consulting, Inc. is a proven IT systems integrator and strategic sourcing provider bringing together the responsiveness of a small business coupled with the capabilities of some of the world's largest and most successful Federal Systems Integrators. Founded in 1992 Collins' business has expanded to include commercial clients and government agencies doing work in more than 35 states.
We are currently seeking a full-time, Technical Recruiter to join our team. Successful applicants will recruit technical personnel, with various levels of experience, for both government and commercial placements. The Recruiter will evaluate candidates against position requirements in order to facilitate the hire of the most qualified candidates for our clients' projects. You must have the desire to be succeed and excel in the position. You must be self-driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
  • Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
  • Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with client's requirements by evaluating, screening, and interviewing candidates
  • Negotiate compensation and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
  • Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks
  • Provide accurate documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other tools
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's preferred or 2-year degree with relevant work experience
  • Previous technical recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and using the phone
  • Prior experience recruiting, sourcing, and interviewing preferred
  • Excellent Internet, communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Be familiar with MS Office (Word, Outlook)
  • Experience using online database or applicant tracking systems (ATS) ideal
  • Able to think on your feet & a desire to be the best
