Job description

About the role:In this position, the Secured Space Coordinator will be an exceptionally talented, dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated individual. The Coordinator provides security and access control to their customer. This position will maintain a daily presence at a designated secured space. This role will consist of logistical responsibilities including close collaboration with Executive Assistants (EA), briefing managers, facility teams, internal and external security partners, other PS teams and outside venders. This position may occasionally require to be on-call after hours.In this role, your responsibilities will be:- Assist with comms for campus related incidents.- Operate CCTV and alarm management systems.- Mentor and educate new team members, explaining roles, and responsibilities.- Co-create standard operating procedures for secured spaces.- Provide security escorts around your secured space- Build and maintain business relationships with building teams, vendors, customers, and external security partners.- Conduct a multitude of audits on a regular cadence to ensure security integrity.- Provide in-depth post incident debriefs to leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:- Associates degree in Criminal Justice or minimum of 2+ years' experience in a security, law enforcement or military discipline- Security Operations Center experience- Security Lead experience- Lenel operating experience- CPR/AED certification required.- DCJS State Guard Certification completed and maintained as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted.- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy- Ability to analyze, decisively act and remain calm in emergency situations- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface well with senior company leadership- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision- Proficient in Microsoft office- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with building teams, vendors, and external security partners- Ability to prioritize and react with appropriate levels of urgency to multiple situations, requests and events that require quick response or turnaroundWe offer:- $36.00 per hour, weekly pay- Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k- Paid Time Off including Sick/Safe Time- A dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growth
