Reports to: Spa Manager

Job Description

Responsible for understanding, learning and performing all skin care and body treatment services offered by the Spa.


Essential functions

  • Gather complete and accurate information on new spa patrons using waivers and forms
  • Keep comprehensive notes of services and treatments performed in a member folder
  • Perform all skin care and body treatment services offered at the spa, which can include: waxing, examining skin to evaluate condition and appearance; cleansing with water, creams, or lotions; demonstrating cleansing techniques; applying cosmetic products (creams, cleansers, lotions, etc.); perform simple extractions; using specialized techniques and products (peels and masks)
  • Restock and dispense supplies and towels as needed
  • Provide information about services and products
  • Consistently review and update knowledge of services, products, and offerings
  • Ensure that treatment rooms and work spaces are clean and neat at all times
  • Follow all current sanitation standards for service implements
  • Support and promote spa products and merchandise


Requirements:

Physical demands

  • Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
  • Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required competencies, education, and experience

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior experience working as an Esthetician preferred
  • Hold a valid state esthetician license
  • Prior customer service experience highly desired
  • Must be exceptionally customer service oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must be customer service oriented, positive team player
  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Park in team member designated areas
  • Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
  • Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings
  • Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor
  • Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
  • Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
  • Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
  • Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac’s Five*Star principles
