Job Description
Overview
The J-1 International Rooms internship participates in a structured training program designed to provide international hospitality students or recent graduates with hands-on experience in the Front Office/ Rooms Division. The intern works alongside front office leadership and team members to develop practical hospitality experience. The particpant will rotate throughout different areas of the Front Office Operation to experience different departments in this field.
Responsibilities
    • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming arrival and departure experience
    • Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
    • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and urgency
    • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests
    • Process payments, reservations, and room assignments using hotel systems
    • Uphold brand standards and ensure a high level of guest service at all times
    • Assist with concierge-style services when needed (directions, recommendations, etc.)

Qualifications
  • Must be eligible for a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa (Culinary Internship or Trainee Program).
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a culinary or hospitality program.
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Strong interest in learning and developing culinary skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
