Job Summary
The Student Assistant for Mail Services supports the daily operations of the University's mail system. Primary responsibilities include operating campus mail routes in conjunction with other student employees to ensure consistent and reliable service, providing customer assistance in the Mail Services lobby, and assisting with package and mail processing. The position may also involve making local deliveries and occasional deliveries within approximately 100 miles of the University of West Georgia campus. Work is performed under general supervision and requires the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of responsibility.
Required Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a UWG student in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA required.
• Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

• Work performed in both office/lobby environment and outdoors during route operation.
• Must be able to lift 20lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or delivery services.
