Description:
As Shipping Clerk specializing in receiving inspections, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming aerospace components and materials meet the required quality and safety standards. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our aerospace manufacturing process and guaranteeing the satisfaction of our customers. You will be responsible for packaging and unpackaging a variety of sensitive products and materials. In addition, the position is required to assist with other miscellaneous tasks related to the movement of material within the company and inventory control.
· Previous experience in order processing, materials handling and distribution is preferred
· Pack and unpack shipments and of aerospace components, materials, and products.
· Conduct thorough inspections of all items to ensure they meet established quality and safety standards.
· Verify quantities and inspect for any visible damage or discrepancies.
· Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
· Create and maintain organized, up-to-date records of received materials and components.
· Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve any discrepancies, damaged items, or quality issues.
· Must be able to quickly move from one department and building to another to deliver and pickup Items.
· Assist in the organization and maintenance of the receiving area and warehouse.
· Monitor and report on inventory levels and any potential shortages.
· Participate in quality control activities and assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
· Report any non-conformance or quality concerns to the relevant teams.
· Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations in receiving and handling aerospace materials.
· Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
· Keep work area and associated tools and equipment clean and organized
· Inspect, package, document, label and finalize outgoing shipments per training and instructions given by the Shipping and Receiving Manager
· Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers, carriers, vendors and other employees
· Adhere to all Southeast Aerospace company policies and guidelines
· In adhering to company polices, all employees are subject to DOT/FAA pre-hire, random and for cause drug and alcohol tests

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
· Working conditions will most often include a warehouse-type environment, which may at times be loud and/or busy.
· Will be required to stand for long periods of time.
· Must be able to quickly move from one department and building to another to deliver and pickup Items.
·Lifting of up to 50 pounds, pushing and/or pulling may be required

Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
