Job description

Position Description: The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing advanced financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and decision support across the organization. This role partners with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and drive operational and financial excellence. The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key business partner, helping leadership make informed decisions through data-driven insights, financial modeling, and performance analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions, pricing strategies, investment evaluations, and operational initiatives.
Analyze financial performance, including revenue, margin, cash flow, working capital, and operating expenses.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages with actionable insights and recommendations.
Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-period results.
Monitor business performance trends and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Support project and portfolio financial reviews, including profitability, cost performance, and forecast accuracy.
Evaluate financial impacts of operational, commercial, and procurement-related decisions.
Assist in the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and executive reporting tools.
Perform scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and strategic business evaluations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
Support risk assessment activities by identifying financial, operational, and commercial exposures.
Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts and other finance team members.
Participate in special projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
