Lead Patient-Centered Care as an Emergency Medicine Physician in Radcliff, KY, at Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Radcliff

Sound Physicians is a physician-founded and led, patient-first medical group grounded in one belief: better support for clinicians leads to better care for patients. Our emergency medicine teams are empowered to lead care locally with the backing of a strong national network committed to clinical excellence, intentional leadership development, and collaborative partnership. Here, you’ll practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care—creating smoother transitions, stronger accountability, and better outcomes for the communities we serve.

If you’re looking for a place where your clinical judgment is valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference, we’d love to talk.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • This brand-new freestanding Emergency Department, opening in September 2026, offers an exceptional opportunity to join a new team providing high-quality emergency care.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
  • Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine or board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience.
  • Certifications Required for non-ABEM Physicians: ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • 24 hours of physician coverage in the ED with shifts from 7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM.
  • 12 hours of APP coverage in the on-site Urgent Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care in a 7-bed ED and a 5-bed on-site Urgent Care.
  • Foster collaboration and support among team members.
  • EPIC is the EMR.

Living and Working in Bowling Green:

  • Radcliff is a thriving community in Hardin County, Kentucky. This affordable community of nearly 23,000 residents offers quality schools, a dense suburban feel, cultural diversity, and an ever-growing local restaurant scene.
  • Radcliff is situated directly adjacent to the Fort Knox U.S. Army Base.
  • Located close to Elizabethtown and less than 1 hour from Louisville, it is an ideal place to live.
  • Our team puts patients first and offers opportunities for career development while encouraging meaningful involvement in the local community.
